Six months and counting.

We made it. Hats off to those who have made it decades longer than us, but we are still proud to count the couple of experiences we have had together thus far. And looking forward to many more to come. Documenting them has not been our strong point, so that is the goal for the next six months.

Let's start with a refresher. Darien and Eric Laird were sealed in the Mesa Temple on January 9th. Most don't know that we actually took pictures in our wedding garb two days before the actual event. Yes, at 6 a.m. Natalie took us kids to the temple. They let us change in the front lobby bathrooms and we walked out and saw each other early. My mom was the only one to watch it. I think she cried then and didn't on the actual day. She's a rock.

Kacey (fabulous photog) and Paul (Christmas light key keeper) met us outside to help make the moment. And that was it. The start of the magical weekend. Oh and Dad. Bob drove to the temple too. Eric left the plaid bow tie at the house. I think Dad enjoyed watching the photos a little as well, even though he did it from the car on a conference call.

Here they are. Thursday morning sunrise photos.
