Making friends in the city means getting invited to help out at special events. A good friend of mine works at the Church PR Office in D.C. and asked us to help at the 34th Annual Festival of Lights ceremony at the D.C. temple. Not only was it a beautiful evening at the temple, but we were able to see and meet several members of congress and foreign ambassadors who came to celebrate the beginning of the season.
