The Laird Turkeys

I drove straight up to Idaho Falls from Provo for Thanksgiving and met Eric and the rest of the Laird family there. Arriving early meant getting to help Linda with all of her Turkey Day decor. Once the gang was all there we spent most of the time inside playing cards, watching movies and getting sick. I am pretty sure the entire family got the flu on a different day that weekend.

Despite the sickness we did get out a bit during the weekend. We braved the only mall in Idaho Falls for some Black Friday shopping. We bought socks for baby Laird. Pretty uneventful. The big events were the baby shower Linda hosted for us. Linda made a beautiful quilt to match baby Laird's bedding and Lacey made some beautiful baby accessories. That evening we all went to a classic barn dinner with a sleigh ride. Apparently it is Laird tradition!

Nicole also took family pictures for us. They turned out great except for our awkward presence: pregnant lady and bearded man. Eric was growing it for No Shave November. Mama Laird was not thrilled!
