After we moved to D.C. I started looking for freelance jobs. I knew I didn't want to commit to anything full-time with the baby coming. I finally heard back from the bureau chief of CNN Newsource, Jamey Graydon. We had an almost 2 hour long interview and a week later I was working at CNN's D.C. office. I was also 8 months pregnant. What an amazing place to work and such a blessing to be hired even though they knew I would need to take some time off for the baby.
The first week I arrived they were ending No Shave November. This is my boss getting creamed with shaving creme as part of the fundraiser. Five bucks per pie tin. Greatest boss ever.
